KMS Men's J1-J2 Team

Sunday, March 11, 2012

The men's blog as been silent at best for the last couple weeks, Sorry about that. Mid-March racing is absolutely crazy to say the least.

Anyway, a number of guys are out west, in fact coming home tomorrow and the next day, but while ripping around the west there were many successful achievements.

James and Wyatt are racing at JII Nationals, at our home away from home Mammoth, CA. Some snow fall during the speed training but it wasn't enough to stop the events. They moved to slalom where James laid down a top 11 first run but had some trouble nearing the finish on run 2.
As they got back to speed, Wyatt and his fast boards, pulled a top ten in the downhill. Nice job, boys!
looks like some more snow fell during the GS that led to some tough conditions. Travel safe back home and slay the parallel!!!

Another group, took to the road out to Idaho, Schweitzer Mountain. Speed started things off there as well and Ben took 2 more top 15's to add to his resume. Two seconds out in a tight field led to two more nice scores for Ben.
Mike was 28th on the second day and Cam, Kyle and Jeffry were 23, 39, 99th respectively.

Moving on to GS the boys all stepped up; Cam and Kyle went 11th and 12th on day 2, Mike 32 and Jefro scored a nice 128 for himself in 83rd.

The slaloms were a bit rough. As conditions didn't freeze overnight and the boys balance was a touch off in a established low rut that gave everyone trouble.

Good Job Guys, you got some things done out there.

For the end of this week, we're all over the map, Sunday River for Devo Finals, EC GS and SL @ Stowe and Waterville and 2 slaloms at Shawnee Peak Maine.

hope the weather holds, 60 degrees is for biking!!
