Getting into February means JI/II states are upon us. Super bowl Sunday brought the JII men to Stowe for the state gs. First run the guys were firing on all cylinders. Eight boys made the flip, not all errorless skiing but they were racing and looked as though it was a good choice to go up a night early. However, second run with some tricky terrain on the new Main Street trail took it's toll on not only the KMS crew but many of the state's finest JII's.
Let's keep in mind though, one turn doesn't make or break the season. There are some tremendous improvements going on right now so better things are sure to come. Congratulations Dan Martin in 12th, Kenny Mcneill, just off the front page in 16th and Jack Salisbury, with a gs finish in 20th with their best results of the year.
