A few more shots from the day.
Nick

The first group finished up their 2 weeks in Mammoth with an incredible day of GS. It was a little chilly when we got on the hill, but we had some of the best snow since I arrived on the 22nd. The bulk of the group is on their way back to Reno for tomorrows flight. Greg and the J3's will be here in a couple hours so I am trying to enjoy the quiet while it lasts. I am looking forward to another great day of GS tomorrow with Cam, Dylan, Mike, and our J3 guest James Ferri.

A Thanksgiving Feast!

Few more slalom pics from today!

The surface is getting better and better every day here in Mammoth. A very productive day of slalom training for the group. We were able to work on tactics again in the course and get some quality free skiing after the session. The guys did a very good job this block and are looking forward to some down time tomorrow, as we take our second day off.

Thanksgiving dinner for 18 was a huge success last night, hope you had a good Turkey Day as well.

We had another good day of SL to finish out this four day block of training. The snow was still a bit soft but the guys were able to work on tactics through the morning session. We are all looking forward to a day off tomorrow before the final push. The forecast is for more snow tomorrow into Sunday, should make for more great skiing.

Meanwhile, back in Killington...

Conditions have been a bit different here in VT. Rain and poor visibility were present this past week and the boys made the best of it. Two great GS ski sessions on Monday and Tuesday, sorry for the lack of drenched photos. Still plenty of snow on the mountain and colder temps. now that we are on break. Happy Thanksgiving!

Still snowing!

Still snowing here in Mammoth. We are now at 8+ feet since Friday, and will more than likely hit 9.
The snow should end today, and we are looking at sun through the end of the week.

Yes, 2 ft.+ on the ground when the lifts opened at 830am. We were there, no gs training today just having fun.

I just happen to capture some shots.

Good training and numerous runs out here in Mammoth. Large volume today because tomorrow could be interesting. We might need snorkels?

Hello from Mammoth and some apex pics.

Great day in Mammoth, typical firm packed powder surface and sunny skies. Weather is coming though.
We got a lot done today and make sure we get some apex tomorrow.

some pics from today.

Thursday at Home

We went up this morning and found ourselves greeted by the full force of the Killington's snow making system. 120 or so guns left the surface wet and a little inconsistent. Given the surface and lack of visibility will all the guns running we took a couple runs and headed back to school for a good dryland session. I am looking forward to getting up there tomorrow to see what we can get done before the weekend.

Great end of the week training for the boys. We got 3 great days on snow from wed to fri with many runs and some fundamental work review from summer. The whole crew is motivated and working hard on their improvement.
The beginning of this week looks good, if the snow holds through this little warm spell we will be in business.

The weather outside still frightful, so we got some work done inside.

Great Sport, 5 on 5 half ice skate hockey. Then the boys proceeded back to KMS to get some explosive work while some others got a education on lactate tolerance.

Great First week of testing. The trends are showing that as a group strength and power output numbers are up. This shows that the boys are starting to do their homework with their conditioning.

Skiing on the agenda for next week along with 2 weeks of strength prep and power development.

I will have pics for you next week.
