The men wrap up a long weekend of racing, just in time for some wet weather coming in on monday, but the long range looks colder for the end of the week.
A group of seven travel over to Waterville Valley, NH for some FIS slaloms. Rough days of racing, as most guys are starting pretty far back and are working on trying to shave down their start positions. We have several guys that are no longer 990. Gotta start somewhere. Cameron Price moved up 71 spots on day one and Kip Spangler did a great job moving 79 on Friday.
Saturday at the Stratton VC GS, newly added PG, Tim Spangler skied to a 9th place with J. Scherding in 22.
Sunday at the slalom at Killington, Matt Beers was 4th and Jake Jacobs in 7th. David Schindler, showed his slalom skills to put him in 10th, Julian in 13th and Dan Martin, 15th. Michael Ferri, just missed the front page in 17th.
All could not out do former UNH skier, KMS coach Joe Dunn, who took first.
Next week the boys get a little speed action with some super g's up at Sugarloaf in Maine.
